Niall Horan: One of the Boys of One Direction

I just thought of featuring Niall Horan of One Direction after their group topped the Billboard albums chart.  It's been a longtime since a British boy band has topped the albums chart in America, maybe even the singles chart - so it's a good thing the group is making headway again in today's generation of kids.

The Strange Music of TurboGoth

I actually read something about TurboGoth in a magazine before but it was only during the OMD concert that I finally was able to hear them play live.  Well, it will take a few spins before you get to warm up to their music.  It's rock alright but there's really no hook that drives the songs so it's difficult to easily warm up to it.  But I can always try. They kinda remind me of a more hard driving version of Garbage.

TVXQ: Korean Boy Band

I was browsing this Thai magazine today and I came across these pictures of these Korean boys who turned out to be the boy band TVXQ.  I am not really familiar with their music but these Koreans sure know which boys to sell to teenage girls all over Asia.
