New Favorite Song This Week: Garret Hedlund - Chances Are
The Country Strong soundtrack has four top forty hits in my personal countdown. Give In to Me, the duet of Garret Hedlund and Leighton Meester has already peaked at #4. Leighton Meester is currently at #36 with Words I Couldn't Say and at #35 we have Garrett Hedlund with Chances Are. Garrett is way hot hot hot in the movie!!

I admit I saw the movie Country Strong in HBO a few times in the past but it was only this week that I really watched it from beginning to end - and I love the soundtrack!! The soundtrack to Country Strong, the movie starring Oscar winner, Gwyneth Paltrow, moves this week from #10 to #6. That is the highest chart position for this album, so far.

Gwyneth Paltrow sings this song beautifully and although she may not have the vocal range, her singing voice is heartfelt and jives perfectly with the country genre her movie is all about.
