Lady Antebellum has now topped my personal countdown for the third time as Compass moves to the top spot this week.  Carrie Underwood was the last country artist to top my personal countdown when Quitter hit the top spot October of last year.

The band Imagine Dragons finally top my personal countdown this week after their great performance at the 2014 Grammy Awards this week, where they also won a Grammy.  The song It's Time peaked at #9 in my personal countdown in 2012.  This week, it reenters at #1.

My Favorite Songs of 2011: #28 Lady Antebellum - Hello World

Lady Antebellum is one of my favorite country groups of late and I Turn To You was one of my Top 10 favorite songs of 2009. This year though, Hello World comes in at #28 in my year end favorites list. This song is as poignant as their other hits.

Happy For Lady Antebellum!

Their song, I Turn To You was one of my Top five favorite songs of 2009 so I was not surprised that they finally broke into the mainstream last year with Need You Now.  I admit I was one of those really surprised to find out that they won both Song of the Year and Record of the Year!  I like the song and since all the nominees in those categories were relative newbies, except maybe for Eminem and Jay-Z, I knew those prizes were up for grabs!  Now, I feel more pressure for them!  Let's see how their music evolves especially that now, they are officially Grammy material!
