Jamie Cullum Tops My Personal Countdown for the Fifteenth Time

I am not surprised that one of the songs in Jamie Cullum's latest album, Momentum, has finally topped my personal countdown.  Previous to this week, he has had fourteen chart toppers from his past three albums!  That's how much I love his work!  Anyway, this week, You're Not the Only One, moves from #2 to #1.

Remembering the Haunting 'Crying Game by Boy George

In 1992, the film, The Crying Game, was one of the most-talked about movies of the year. From the Oscar-winning movie came this haunting song produced by The Pet Shop Boys, entitled, The Crying Game - and since the movie had a gender-bender among its actors, it was appropriate for them to get Boy George to sing the theme! Stroke of Genius! The song eventually reached #1 in France and #11 in the US. It hit #22 in his native Britain.

My Favorite Pet Shop Boy Classics: #5 - Always On My Mind

I still couldn't shake off the idea that Elvis Presley actually sang this song! I mean, listening to Elvis' then the Pet Shop Boy's version - you would immediately notice how unique the PSB's version is of this classic. No wonder it made the Top 10 in many different countries.
