My Votes for the OPM Myx Countdown This Week: August 24, 2012

I haven't voted for the OPM Myx Countdown for more than a month now.  I've been a bit busy and there were no standouts too from the OPM side.  It's only this week that two OPM songs have entered my personal countdown list.

Anyhow, here are the four OPM songs I'm voting for in the countdown this week, regardless whether they're still there or not -

#1 Rico Blanco - Amats (4 votes per day)

#2 Bamboo - Ikot Ng Mundo (3 votes per day)

#3 Jurassic Pards - Akyat Bahay Gang (2 votes per day)

#4 Somedaydream, Champ Lui Pio, Luigi D'Avola - It's Your Life (1 vote per day)

Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen Top My Personal Countdown This Week

 

Carly Rae Jepsen gets her second #1 song for the year, and together with the band Vertical Horizon, they are as of this week, the only two acts to have two #1 songs this year.

Owl City gets his fifth #1 song following How I Became the Sea which went to the top around this time last year.

Together, the two do the song 'Good Time' which zooms to the top this week, after two weeks of abnormal concert activity.

Psy - Gangnam Style (강남스타일) M/V

This is definitely the best video I saw this year! Very funny, very creative and incredibly catchy! Makes you want to do the Gangnam style!

Dance Medley including Psy's Gangnam Style - Nelly Furtado Live in Manil...

Thank God somebody took this video! I decided to just dance through this sequence instead of taking a video! This is my most favorite part of Nelly Furtado's concert here last week! She even did the Gangnam style - how cool is that!

Chart Performance: Brian O' Shaughnessy

Brian O' Shaughnessy gets his first top 10 album in the UK with Ryan O'Shaughnessy.  It debuts at #9.
