Grammys 2011 Focus: Angelique Kidjo's Oyo
Nominee: Best Contemporar World Music Album - Angelique Kidjo - Oyo
Angelique Kidjo is nominated in the Grammys 2011 edition for her album Oyo, in the Best Contemporary World Music Album category. The video above shows her collaboration with John Legend and Bono in the song Move On Up, which she also performed at the kick-off concert of this year's World Cup in South Africa. This song sounds good and I guess, out of the three nominees I've heard yet, it's the most accessible for radio. I think Angelique has a good chance of snaring this award at the Grammys!
