The Jazz World Is Abuzz Again with Ingenue Esperanza Spalding!
I just saw the nominees the Grammys chose for the Best New Artist award and all five (Justin Bieber, Drake, Florence and the Machine, Mumford & Sons) are fantastic choices! It also introduced me to this new jazz artist, Esperanza Spalding! And she's so cool! I won't be surprised if she really breaks out soon since she sounds fantastic live - she's doing a version here of Stevie Wonder's Overjoye.! How much more if she plays in a studio where they can do all those 'magical' things! I hope she performs on Grammy night though.
