Smashing Pumpkins Setlist for Manila Concert
I got this setlist of the Smashing Pumpkins show from a friend who was actually there! Sadly, I missed it since at that time, there was still no electricity in the house and I couldn't just leave the kids. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the show if I just left them.
Anyway, I just hope Billy makes good of his promise to return soon.

Josh Turner: First Country Song to Reach #1 This Year

Somedaydream Dishes Out Something New
You just have to hand it to this guy, Rez Toledo, who goes under the name Somedaydream, to come up with something fresh and inspirational! I just heard his new single, It's Your Life, and it's up there with his Hey Daydreamer release last year! He has certainly matured now - a lot I think and he's becoming more and more sophisticated with the way he mixes the sounds and the instruments.
It's quite refreshing to hear Champ Lui Pio here too - and there's also a newcomer Luigi D'Avola. You also have to check out the fantastic video! It's a beautiful mishmash of the kinetic sports images, discrete actions from the best of each sport. Lovet!

Nicki Minaj: Please Lipsynch Properly
I thought I was the only one who noticed it but some of my friends who were nearer the stage noticed that Nicki Minaj was just lipsynching through most of her show last Wednesday. They felt tuloy, na since it was just a Globe event, that Nicki just waded through her performance that night. Which is a pity really, because I did like her performance, especially when she rapped, but I understand that her singing voice is not really up to par.
In Turn Me On, she sang in a much lower octave than what the song sounded like on radio. I believe she's more of a rapper, which she did a great job at, than being a singer. I just hope that next time she lipsynchs, that she holds the mike much closer to her mouth and REALLY enunciate the words! Medyo obvious talaga kasi in her performance that night. Medyo harang ng konti!
