I already bought tickets to Ariana Grande's concert here in Manila ages ago.  I heard it's sold
out na daw.

Anyhow, here is her setlist for her Manila show.

  2. (Jessie J cover)
  3. (Instrumental Only)
  4. Encore:

Setlist for Zedd's Manila Concert

I haven't yet bought tickets to Zedd's concert here in Manila on August 8. Wala pa kasi budget, but hopefully, mabiyayayaan din ng Diyos!  His setlist sounds cool though.

  1. (with Echosmith)
  2. Rude
    (MAGIC! cover)

Laura Loves Walk the Moon!

I first heard this song last Christmas and the beat was so catchy it became the #1 song in my personal countdown, January 9 of this year.

I never thought this song would catch on with the young people today because the beat (and the video) is so retro and so 80s and at that time, I think it was Taylor Swift's Blank Space and Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk that was dominating the US airwaves.
I was just shocked two weeks ago to hear Laura and Dylan singing this song! I was like, "How do you know this song?" and Laura said, "Oh, everyone in school is singing it!". I said "Seriously?!!"

It took the song six months to reach the mainstream!! Not bad......
Pwede rin pala ma-dig ng mga bata ang 80s sound noh. This band sounds like Wang Chung to me and they're coming to Trinoma in mid-August! Yun lang, ang panget ng acoustics sa Trinoma, super sabog!

My Weekly OPM Countdown July 10, 2015 #2 Never the Strangers - Sabay

Returning this year with a new album, the local OPM band, Never the Strangers, get their 4th top 10 hit in my OPM countdown, as Sabay, zooms up to #2.

This is one of the more intriguing OPM tracks this year, and I admit, their sound has hewed closely to Rico Blanco, who has been instrumental in the production of the songs in their latest album.

Their song has had 20,751 views in Youtube as of this week.

Never the Strangers

Th local OPM band, Never the Strangers, has four top 10 songs in my OPM countdown.

2012 - Alive (#3)

2013 - Moving Closer (#6)

2013 - Bago Mahuli ang Lahat (#1)

2015 - Sabay (#2)

My Weekly OPM Countdown July 10, 2015: #1 Silent Sanctuary - Sa Piling Mo

Silent Sanctuary's third top ten hit in my OPM countdown, Sa Piling Mo, becomes their very first #1 song as well.  The song moves from #2 to #1 this week.  As of now, the song has 249,915 views in Youtube.

This song is a departure from the slow, melancholic ballads that the band usually does.  I don't have their latest album yet so I'm not sure how many fast songs they have in there. This is the #1 OPM track in my Ipod this week.
