Grammys 2012 Nominees: Deadmau5 and Greta Svabo Bech

Deadmau5 is another dance act who gets nominated from time to time. This year, it's for their song Raise Your Wespon, their collaboration with Greta Svabo Bech.

Grammys 2012 Nominees: Duck Sauce

Who could forget this annoying song from last year, Duck Sauce's Barbra Streisand?! This was a big hit in Europe and actually, the more you listen to it, the more you are endeared to it! It became popular also among my Body Combat friends since a faster version of the song was used in a Body Combat track - and boy, the boxing moves went really in sync with the song! Good choice by the guys from Les Mills. The song can get annoying sometimes though, but still, it gets my vote for Best Dance Recording.

Grammys 2012 Nominees: Robyn

Swedish chanteuse Robyn is a perennial nominee in this category, Best Dance Recording and this year, she gets a nod for this song, Call Your Girlfriend. Not quite the strongest of her most recent work, or at least a favorite of mine, but well, the Grammy voters love it!

Grammys 2012 Nominees: Skrillex

Skrillex is nominated in some major categories like Producer of the Year and Best New Artist. He also gets a nod for Best Dance Recording for this song, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. It's not your typical dance song since it's quite hard driving and there are distorted sounds all throughout. Kinda reminds you of a heavier Bjork.

Grammys 2012 Nominees: Swedish House Mafia

The Swedish House Mafia is up for Best Dance Recording for their song Save the World. Watch the video! It's so cool - probably one of the coolest videos of 2011.
