Grammys 2012 Nominee: Zamora

Zamora is a Venezuelan musician, whose latest album, Instrumental Oasis Vol. 6, has been nominated for a Grammy for Best New Age Album. It's his first nomination. This clip is entitled The Voice of Silence.

Grammys 2012 Nominee: Pat Metheny

Already a winner for Best New Age Album in 2004, with One Quiet Night, veteran American jazz guitarist, gets another Grammy nod for that category for his latest album, What's It All About. The clip you heard is his take on the classic, Alfie. Such deft use of hands to produce a smooth and pleasant sound! Incidentally, Pat already has 18 Grammy awards from different categories like rock, jazz fusion, contemporary jazz, new age and his instrumental albums.

Grammys 2012 Nominee: Peter Kater

This is the first time I am featuring artists nominated for the Best New Age Album. My first pick is Peter Kater, whose album, Wind, Rock, Sea and Flame has been nominated in that category. I have listened to his work, Sea, and the whale sounds are so beautiful. Truly music you can relax to, the ones you normally hear in the spa!
