The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Antonin Dvorak's Czech Suite this Friday as part of their program. Dvorak was Czech and it is said in some of the articles in the Internet about this work of his that this piece of music kinda described the Czech countryside and the Czech way of life. For me, it sounds very breezy and uplifting, much like today's pop music that's why it's very easy to listen to! The second movement, Polka is my favorite movement in this work by Dvorak.
