Grammy's 2012: My Choice for Album of the Year
The nominees in this category again shows the diversity of taste among academy members. It includes Adele's 21; Bruno Mars' Doo Wops and Hooligans, Lady Gaga's Born This Way and Rihanna's Loud - again - all worthy winners....
BUT, if I could vote, I will choose sentimental favorite the Foo Fighters, Wasting Light! Among all the nominees, this band is the most accomplished with a great career of strong albums and lots of good music. Sometimes the Grammy voters use this category as some kind of lifetime achievement award - and that's exactly why I'm voting for the Foo Fighters! It's about time, they get some kind of lovin' from their own peers!
