Sinead O'Connor's Lay Your Head Down (Albert Nobbs) - Golden Globe Nominee Best Original Song 2012
Whew, I haven't heard any Sinead O'Connor song for almost 15 years now, so I was really happy to hear that she sang the theme song for the Albert Nobbs - and it got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song! Hurrah! This was written by Glenn Close and music by Brian Byrne. The song is vintage Sinead, mind you - and she sounds just as good as she did 22 years ago!
