My Pick for the Grammy Record of the Year 2012
All the nominees are great and it's fantastic that today's Grammys really reflect the sound of the times (not like when I was growing up - when it was known as the "Grannies"!). Anyway, the nominees for this award are Adele with Rolling in the Deep; Bon Iver with Holocene; Bruno Mars with Grenade and Mumford and Sons with The Cave - all worthy winners.
BUT, if I could vote, I would choose Katy Perry's Firework. I love pop songs and this particular song of hers has a very positive message - which is good - since a lot of young people listen to her!
