Nicki Minaj Concert Pictures Final Set: Save Me to Super Bass

After she did two ballads, Save Me and Fire Burns, Nicki exits the stage once again and the DJ plays her song Marilyn Monroe - another one of my favorite songs from her latest album.  Too bad she did not sing this live!  I really like this one!

Anyway, she came back for the third and last leg of her concert, this time, wearing this ensemble with a green wig!  It's in this third set where she deviates from he concert setlist and does songs which her DJ and she agreed on.  Everyone loved it when she did Bedrock and did it inviting some members from the audience.

There were no more encores that night as Nicki immediately launched into Super Bass - definitely the song that majority in the audience waited for!

Nicki was really sweet last night - which I didn't expect - since the lyrics that she raps are pretty tough sounding.  She also didn't look too black, and I thought it was the lighting and all but Whitney Houston even looked darker than her.

She was obviously touched by the audience's reaction to her performance last night.

Nicki Minaj Concert Pictures Set 2: Starships to Turn Me On

To open her second set , Nicki immediately launched into her latest hit, Starships, which sent the whole arena into a frenzy!  I also loved her choreography for Pound the Alarm, which she did after Starships.  I actually didn't expect it to be that way pero it did suit the beat of the song.  Curiously, Pound the Alarm sounds like Starships, especially when it launches into a frenzy.  The next song Whip It is my most favorite song from her latest album.  We dance to this is in our hip hop class, that's why it's special to me.  She did not finish though, stopping abruptly after the first chorus!  Too bad really since I really like this song and would've wanted to dance more to it!

Her two David Guetta songs - Where Them Girls At and Turn Me On were also well-received by the audience! Interestingly, Nicki didn't have any dramatic costume changes as well, content with just mixing up her dress and changing wigs.  I guess all those weird costumes were just for high profile events like the Grammys, but not really for long haul tours like this one!
