MY TEN FAVORITE FOREIGN SONGS OF 2014 #10 Shaan and Shantanu Moitra - Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh

The DVD to the Indian movie Three Idiots has been sitting on my desk for months and it was only Holy Week this year that I decided to watch the movie - and like many of the young people who watched it before - and know already what a good movie it was, I was really touched and blown away by what I saw.

It is a very long movie with all the Bollywood singing and dancing but it was a movie that spoke to me - more than two decades after graduating from college!

As the movie opens, this song is going to be sung and I think it's the most beautiful of all the songs they sang in this wonderful movie. If you haven't seen the movie, you have to watch it! It's funny, it's so full of joy and twists and unexpected happenings!

Grab something to bite - it's a long movie but really worth your time.

A Bollywood Song Finally Tops My Personal Countdown

I was really glad I watched the DVD of 3 Idiots during Good Friday!  It was the perfect movie for that time of Lent when we had to meditate about our lives.  And it being a Bollywood movie, it's not surprising that a song from there can top my personal countdown.

Shaan and Shantanu Moitra becomes the first singers from India and the Bollywood scene to top the FABE Weekly Top 10.  This week, Behti Sa Tha Woh moves to the top of my countdown.  It is also the opening song of this movie.

This song, Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh is the opening song for the movie 3 Idiots and this week, it climbs from #6 to the top spot, making it the first Bollywood song ever to go to #1.  It's sang by Shaan and Shantanu Moitra.

G-Dragon: First Korean Act to Top My Personal Countdown in 2014

We're almost in the middle of 2014 and one Korean act has already reached the top spot.  G-Dragon's Crayon moves up to #1 this week.  We danced to this song in K-pop class, and I've liked it ever since!
