Concerts I'm Watching This May - Getmusic Indie-Go

The second concert I am watching this May is actually an indie-band festival called Getmusic Indie-Go, which will be on May 20 at the MOA Arena.  I don't know what time I'm supposed to be there since there are so many acts but I'll try to be at the venue early.

I actually only know a few of the acts, and I'm not very familiar with some of them, but as in life, it's always ok to have an open mind about things and just sit back and relax.

Since I have NO BUDGET, I am just getting the cheapest ticket for this show, LOL

Anyway, so that I may also enjoy the show, I will just listen to the stuff of some of the acts that I don't really know, so that di naman ako magmukhang tanga during their sets.

Below is the list of the acts in the show - in no particular sequence of performing -

  • Autotelic

  • MilesExperience

  • Sud

  • Jensen and The Flips

  • Reese Lansangan

  • Gabby Alipe

  • Somedaydream 桑 天 错 觉

  • NINNO

  • She’s Only Sixteen

  • Conscious & The Goodness

Concert I Would Love to Watch This May - Jaya's No Boundaries

After I listened to her All Souled Out album, I instantly became a fan of Jaya.  Being a big fan of R&B greats like Anita Baker, she's probably the closest thing locally, who can give justice to singers like Ms. Baker.

Jaya certainly breathed new life into the songs she chose for that soul album.  I don't know though if she has new material out right now, but it's great to hear that she has a new show coming up in two weeks na!

Problem is, I don't yet have extra budget to watch the show, even the cheapest ticket man lang, because that week is also payment of Meralco week!! Bad timing!

Anyhow, this should motivate me to look for a client this week to pay for the ticket to her show, kaya on May 2, kayod na agad, para I can close a deal before her show.  I'm just hoping meron pang a few tickets for sale even if it's very near the date of her show.

I also hope she sings a few songs from her All Souled Out album.  I read that she had a show to support that album but I missed it because I was not very Twitter savvy before.

Anyway, kung anuman, I will keep all of you updated.  I hope it's good news for me!

Concerts I'm Watching This May: Darly Ong's 'Songs'

I only have budget for two shows this May although I would love to watch three.  All of them are by local artists, and top on the list is Daryl Ong, Songs, which happens on May 19, 2017, 8PM at the Music Museum.

I will most likely get the cheapest ticket but if may konting budget, baka, I'll get the more expensive one.  Anyway, the venue naman is cozy and intimate so mas closer sya sa audience as compared to a bigger venue.

This would be my first time to see him live so I'm quite excited.
