The only other video I love this year is Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe, which I discovered months ago,  Just can't go over the gay twist in the end! And Holden Nowell is tres chaud!!

Now check out this video of Azealia Banks and yes, there's another cute guy in it - cute nerdy WHITE guy - the total antithesis of Azealia with her BJ ready lips!  Love this video and love Azealia!

Chart Performance: Carly Rae Jepsen

 

Carly Rae Jepsen gets her first top 10 album in the US this week as Kiss debuts at #6.

Her second top 10 hit in the US, Good Time, her collaboration with Owl City, moves back into the top 10 this week at #10.  The song has already peaked at #8.  Her first release was the worldwide hit Call Me Maybe which went to #1 in the US and in many countries around the world.  This week, it slips to #10 in the US charts.

It's also her second UK top 10 hit, the song landing at #8 this week, after peaking at #3.  Call Me Maybe also went to #1 in the UK.

Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen gets her first number one song in my personal Top 10 this week, as her catchy tune, Call Me Maybe, goes to #1.  Because of her concert last week, Olivia Newton-John's I Honestly Love You reenters at #3 this week.

My New Favorite Perfect Pop Song: Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe

Every year, there are about ten songs which instantly catch my attention and 90% of the time, they are pop songs, since, well, I love pop music very much! This year, it's only been March but there are already three songs which fit this category. Ed Sheeran blew me away earlier this year with his "Lego House". Then around Valentine's Day last month, Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" played endlessly in my Ipod. Now last night, while I was browsing the Billboard charts, I came upon this uplifting pop ditty from Canadian singer, Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe. I just love the guy in the video! He's uber-uber hot!! And I love the song too! Just really perks me up!
