Anyone who saw Cyndi Lauper perform here last year were pretty lucky because her much lauded performance for True Colors in yesterday's Tony Awards was exactly how she performed it here! I'm also happy for her win for Kinky Boots - which is another gay-themed play about gay men who wear, well, these really big and high Kinky Boots! She already has a Grammy, a Tony and an Emmy. Now, somebody should hire her to write a movie song, so she can complete this rare troika of awards with an Oscar. She can definitely do it!
