Kudos to ABS-CBN to release the video of this song where the love story is between two women. I don't think this video would even pass in the US where they can be prudes when it comes to lesbian love. It's undeniable though that this is one of the most earnest performances of any song this year. As with the comments in Youtube, you'd think it was a guy who's singing it, only to find out that it's actually a girl singing it to her lady love. As always, it's been a song about unrequited love that gets the top spot of the year, while the happy upbeat songs follow it. The trend continues this year and while everybody else have their own hugot songs, this is the one that hits me straight to the heart.
