Mike Posner Trinoma Mall Tour
I'm sure Mike Posner was surprised just like everyone when his song Cooler Than Me hit the US Top 10 last year. He quickly followed it up with Please Don't Go, which I think reached the Top 15.
Armed with those two hit songs plus his own style of Michigan soul and beats, he comes to Manila to an enthusiastic young crowd (sila lang yung young - nakakatalon pa e) to do a tour among the Ayala Malls. His first stop was tonight in Trinoma where his fans welcomed him warmly! And they were all so young, nakakaloka!
Anyhow, my favorite number of his was when he did his own version of Adele's Rolling in the Deep. It was quite original and it involved some cool drumming! Most of the audience got a meet and greet which I didn't do anymore so as not to betray my age. Otherwise, it was a very well-organized event by the Ayala Malls !

My New Favorite Song in My Ipod: Mike Posner - Please Don't Go
I actually didn't quite like his first US Top 10 hit, 'Cooler Than Me', but when I first heard this song, I immediately checked my Ipod, and I was surprised to find out that this song was his. It doesn't even have a video yet so I decided to just post this live version of his song. The live version ain't bad, so this guy can actually sing!
