Another Visayan song tops My OPM Top 10 this week.  Earl Andrei Ornopia's Barangay Blues becomes the fifth Visayan language song to top my OPM countdown this year and this is the first time that another Visayan song took the top spot from another Visayan song at #1 last week - Jacqueline Chang's Pero Atik Ra.

Rico Blanco Tops My OPM Countdown For the First Time

My OPM Countdown is just about two months old but Rico Blanco already has a number one song in it.  This week, Burado, the second single from his latest album, Galactick Fiestamatik, moves to the top spot.  The first single, Amats, also reached the top 10 of my personal countdown but it was still in the countdown where both OPM and foreign songs were still mixed together.

Gracenote Goes Mainstream with Minsan Lang Naman

A veteran of band competitions, Gracenote finally gets a mainstream hit with Minsan Lang Naman, which peaked at #9 in the OPM Myx Countdown.  The band members are from St. Scholastica's College in Manila and have worked their way through the band competition circuit to hone their live playing skills.
