Lil Wayne has 19 top 10 hits in the US.  Since he collaborates with many different artists, it's not unusual for him to have several top 1o hits in a year.  Two of those songs went all the way to #1.

Lil Wayne: Dedication to My Ex



Lil Wayne's first UK Top 10 hit, Dedication to My Ex, is his collaboration with Lloyd and Andre 3000.  This week, the song slips to #6.  It has peaked at #3.

B.o.B.'s New Song Debuts in US Top 10 Charts



B.o.B.'s new song, a collaboration with Lil Wayne, becomes his fourth top 10 hit in the US.  The song, Strange Clouds, debuts at #7 in the US Top 10 Singles Charts.  It's the first release from his latest album of the same title.

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter 4: His Third #1 Album in the US



Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV is his third #1 album in the US, after Tha Carter III and I Am Not A Human Being.  It's also his ninth Top 10 album, two of them, his collaborations with Birdman and Young Money.  His first Top 10 album was Tha Block is Hot in 1999.  It peaked at #3.

This week, Tha Carter IV slips two places to #5

Kanye West: Niggas in Paris with Jay-z


Like Jay-z, Kanye West also has an enviable string of consecutive #1 albums, showing how solid the fan base is of rap and hip hop music.  In an earlier article I wrote, even the rapper, The Game, who is not really a household name worldwide, has three #1 albums in the US. 

The collaboration between Kanye West and Jay-z, Watch the Throne, becomes his fifth #1 album in the US.  Below are his other #1 albums -

New Music This Week: Lil Wayne's Blunt Blowin'


Lil Wayne has continuously been releasing songs from his latest album, Tha Carter IV.  He already has two top 10 hits from it - She Will, his collaboration with Drake, peaked at #3, while How to Love, hit #5.  This week, two songs from that album have reached Top 40 territory, Blunt Blowin' at #33, and Mirror, his collaboration with Bruno Mars, debuted in the Top 20.

Lil Wayne's How To Love Reaches Top 5 Territory in the US


Interestingly, Lil Wayne has never had a UK Top 10 hit, till this week!  His collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, I'm Into You, moves 3 places into #10 this week.

In the US, his fourteenth Top 10 hit, How To Love, slips to moves to #9 this week, after peaking at #5.   Here are his Top 10 hits in the US -

Chart Performance: Drake


Drake's eleventh US Top 10 hit, his collaboration with Rihanna, Take Care, has peaked at #7. This week, it rests at #7  Their previous collaboration, What's My Name, reached #1 last year.
