I discovered Julie Ann San Jose almost two years ago when she opened for David Archuleta at the Araneta Coliseum. She just strutted out into the stage and belted out the current hits at that time, which included Nicki Minaj's Super Bass. I was just impressed at how good her voice was, how confident she was onstage, and how great she rapped! I was an instant fan.
Two years hence, it's great to see that Julie Ann gets her first #1 song in the OPM Myx Countdown, with I'll Be There. I haven't quite warmed up to the song yet but I should these next few weeks. There are just too many concerts now and new stuff to listen to.
