It's great that Basti Artadi has chosen to come back to the Philippines and revive the musical fortunes of his band Wolfgang. At least with them present, the current bands can have a link between the past and the present - and someone to look up to - since we all need role models and support, especially now that the local rock music scene is fighting off the avalanche of Korean pop and the crazy ladies of pop like Lady Gaga. Foreign band after foreign band has also been coming here exciting the local audiences to a frenzy. It's about time the local rockers bring something interesting to the table.
An interesting mix of all musical styles, whether homegrown or not, is always welcome.
