It was such a class act for the the lead singer of the band Snow Patrol, Gary Lightbody, to make these comments during their concert yesterday. I was particularly touched that he said these good things about us. It hasn't been an easy week for Filipinos here in Luzon and it was great that our visitors have offered some sort of support to uplift our spirits. The band did not disappoint performance-wise! It was also fitting that I like their song Lifening, which they dedicated to the audience and the flood victims that night.
