Paolo Onesa Tops My OPM Countdown For the Second Time



Paolo Onesa's collection of standards songs continues to give him hits. Which Way Robert Frost becomes his second #1 hit in my OPM countdown. 

 Here are my ten favorite OPM songs for the week ending August 15, 2014 -

#10 Zsa Zsa Padilla - All Cried Out (NEW)

Zsa Zsa Padilla's All Cried Out is the fourth top 10 hit from her latest album Palagi.  The song debuts this week at #10.  It's also the diva's 12th top 10 hit in my OPM countdown.  She now extends her chart span to an amazing 31 years, a feat which only a few OPM active artists can boast of having.





#9 Maldita - Sayo (NEW)


Zamboanga-based band Maldita has now put 6 top 10 hits in this countdown, all from their self-titled debut album.  Sayo debuts this week at #9.  The band has three #1 songs as well from that album.





#8 RJ Ty feat. Ron Henley - Puyat (#10)


The collaboration between RJ Ty and Ron Henley, Puyat, moves back up again, this time to #8, its new current peak position.





#7 Klarisse de Guzman - Di Kayang Pilitin (#7)


Klarisse de Guzman's very first top 10 hit in my OPM countdown, Di Kayang Pilitin, stays at #7 for a second week.





#6 Spongecola and Yeng Constantino - +63 (#6)


The collaboration between Spongecola and Yeng Constantino, +63, stays at #6 for a second week.




#5 Kilos - Basta Masaya Ka (#9)


Basta Masaya Ka by local band Kilos continues to move up my OPM countdown, up to #5 this week.  It's also their first hit in my OPM countdown.




#4 Mica - Heart Song (#8)


Mica's very first top 10 hit in my OPM countdown, zooms up to #4 this week.






#3 Smugglaz - P.M.L. (Panghawakan Mo Lang) (#5)

Local rapper Smugglaz's first hit in my OPM countdown, P.M.L. (Pang-Hawakan Mo Lang) moves up to #3 this week.






#2 Chris Cantada - Little Girl (Your Soul is Fine) (#3)

Chris Cantada's fourth top 10 hit in my OPM countdown is most likely going to be his fourth #1 song as well.



#1 Paolo Onesa - Which Way Robert Cross (#2)

Paolo Onesa gets his second #1 hit in my OPM countdown this week as Which Way Robert Frost, moves up from #2 to #1. His first #1 hit was Lucky in Love.
