Leonard Cohen Resurrected
Canadian poet and singer-songwriter, Leonard Cohen resurrects this week, with his fourth Top 10 album in the UK, Old Ideas. The album debuts at #2, his highest-charting album since Songs from A Room way back in 1969. The album has already gone to #1 in the Netherlands and Norway. Below are his Top 10 albums in the UK -
1967 - Songs of Leonard Cohen (#10)
1969 - Songs From A Room (#2)
1971 - Songs of Love and Hate (#4)
2012 - Old Ideas (#2)
It has been 41 years between his last Top 10 album and his latest Top 10 album. It should be longest span between Top 10 albums, shouldn't it?
