Remembering Daft Punk's Dance Genius
Daft Punk is back in the charts again, achieving another feather in their cap, as their soundtrack to the blockbuster movie, Tron: Legacy, enters the US Top 10 album charts this week. I saw the movie today, and all I can say is that their sound is uber-perfect for the digital gaming world this movie has set itself. I even think that the scene where two DJs were playing and being instructed by Michael Sheen were the group itself! I like how they segued their music into the movie Tron though, not overpowering it but enhancing the dazzling visuals of the movie.
This was one of their biggest hits before, Around the World, which kept everyone dancing - around the world!
They also had another hit with One More Time, which was really huge!
