Escapade - My #4 Favorite Janet Jackson Song
Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 had a motherlode of hits (I think seven US top 10 songs, with five of them going all the way to #1) and it contained three of my all-time favorite Janet Jackson songs. First of the three is 'Escapade', definitely one of my 'happy' songs when I was in college - something I'd immediately pop in my cassette tape when I get the blues. It never fails to perk up my spirits - even up to now. 'C'mon baby, let's get away. Let's save our trouble for another day.'
