Donna Summer virtually ruled the music charts in the late 70s at the peak of the disco era. However, her 80s output was a bit intermittent but she had a career resurgence in 1989, with the help of the production team of Stock, Aitken and Waterman.
I was already in college when this song became a hit. I was very happy that I was already chartwatching actively during this time, so at least, even during the twilight of her career, I was able to actively watch the some of the musical legacy of the Queen of Disco, Donna Summer.
