It's a pretty strong field this year for this category. The other nominees are Christian Bautista, Callalily, Parokya ni Edgar and Sandwich. However, my vote goes to singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino, who in my opinion, crafted some of the more earnest songs of the year. She is a very clever songwriter and is not scared to write from her heart!
