Hawaii Five-O Theme Song: One of the Best TV Theme Songs Ever!
I was still a kid, maybe about 10 years old, thereabouts, when this TV show became very popular here in the Philippines, thanks largely to its very catchy theme song. Of course, now, that song is truly iconic, and anyone, living at that time when that show was a hit, could immediately identify where it came from.
I remember watching this show on our large black and white TV, remember those ones where you can close the screen by rolling a wooden roller across it. And the TV was in a built-in cabinet with four legs, and it was strong enough to hold the combined weight of the knick knacks you put on top of it.
I don't recall much of the show now. What I remember is that Papa liked it so much that when it came on at the specified night, we would surely watch it while having dinner.
They have now remade the show and suited it for the times. I will have to watch the show and find out if it's still exciting.
