Christian Bautista Continues to Top My OPM Myx Countdown Votes

This is already the fourth straight week that Christian Bautista tops my OPM Myx Countdown votes.  Here are the four OPM songs I'm voting for that countdown this week -

#1 Christian Bautista / Neocolours - Sasabihin (4 votes per day)

#2 Loonie - Tao Lang (3 votes per day)

This song has grown on me.  The more I listen to it, the more I like it!

#3 Emanuelle - Sandali Lang (2 votes per day)

 This song reenters my list again this week.  It has topped the OPM list for two weeks this year.

#4 Sabrina - Sa Bawat Paghinga (1 vote per day)

Another song that has tenaciously stayed among the OPM songs I've been voting for the countdown.

Christian Bautista Stays On Top of My OPM Myx Countdown Votes

Christian Bautista tops my OPM Myx Countdown Votes for a second straight week this week, October 5, 2012.  This song is his collaboration with the 80s band Neocolours.

Bamboo's Solo Effort Finally Pays Off

It would be hard to stifle the musical creativity of Bamboo so that even if he goes from band to band and now as a solo artist, he would most likely come up with a song that the public would love.  Since his namesake band broke up last year, Bamboo has gone solo and released No Water, No Moon, his first solo album.  He tops the OPM Myx Countdown this week with Ikot Ng Mundo, one of the tracks from that album.

I'm still warming up to the song. Even though he's a rock icon here in the Philippines, I haven't exactly warmed up to his kind of rock.

Krissy and Ericka Score A Hit with 12:51

Teen pop acoustic duo, Krissy and Ericka finally score a breakthrough hit this week as 12:51 gets to the top of the OPM Myx Countdown.  I actually have a CD of these girls because I liked their take on M2M's 'Don't Say You Love Me."  I'm not surprised that the public has finally caught on this melodic duo. I first heard 12:51 during Markki Stroem's concert in Music Museum - and from there alone, I knew that they had a hit on their hands.  I am looking forward to see these girls perform live soon!

My OPM Myx Countdown Votes This Week, March 12, 2012

Well, another week is upon us and it's time again to pick four OPM songs that I'm going to vote this week for the OPM Myx countdown.  Here they are -

1.  Christian Bautista - 4 votes per day - still my favorite OPM song for the week.  It should top my personal Top 10 list soon too!

2.  Hijo - Di Mo Na Kaya - 3 votes per day - well, this song kinda grew on me.  Funny thing is it disappeared from my Ipod so that I had to re-download it.

3.  Krissy and Ericka - 12:51 - 2 votes per day - The first time I heard this song was in Markki Stroem's concert.  I fell in love with it then, and now it's one of my favorite OPM songs of the week.

4.  Never the Strangers - Alive - 1 vote per day - Another song which grew on me.  At least now, the sound of Pinoy rock is continuously evolving!
