We were honored last night to have Pinoy Idol finalist, Sherwin Marquez as a guest performer. Sherwin has a great voice and was particularly cool and composed as he performed three songs for all the guests. I could really say that all requests for encores were genuine and Sherwin obliged to do a Christmas song as well - such a trouper! If he gets more exposure and record an originally cool song, I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks out in a big way!
I promised him I'd blog about his album soon as he releases one. There should be enough songwriters out there with ballads in their hands, just waiting for a dashing balladeer to do justice to their songs! He has a show at The Library in Malate on December 27. If you're chilling out after all those Christmas parties- drop by and let Sherwin entertain you! If his performance tonight was an indication of what he can offer, it would be such a letdown to miss his show! Vic and I are definitely going!
